Cinco Ranch neighborhood has nostalgic design
Park Place at Cinco Ranch is a brand-new neighborhood, but with its historically inspired architecture and esplanade-lined main boulevard, it would fit right into some of Houston’s oldest areas. In fact, Downing Park, the main street in Park Place, was inspired by the century-old Heights Boulevard near downtown Houston.
Offering new homes priced from the $280,000s to $400,000s by Highland Homes and J. Kyle Homes, was designed to provide Cinco Ranch home buyers with a new choice that combines nostalgic architecture with the latest energy efficiency technology, said Heather Gould, marketing director for Newland Communities.
“At Park Place, we wanted to offer home buyers the type of neighborhood and home they grew up in, or always dreamed about living in,” said Gould. “Home buyers love the front porches and the detailed brickwork on the exteriors. Inside, these homes offer the open and flowing spaces preferred by home buyers today, along with Energy Star efficiency standards.”
Highland Homes has opened its decorated model home in Park Place, and J. Kyle is also selling in the neighborhood while its model home is under construction. Overall, one- and two-story floor plans range from approximately 2,500 to 3,800 square feet.
Planned for 120 homes, Park Place at Cinco Ranch offers an appropriately old-fashioned setting for the vintage designs by J. Kyle and Highland.
Stretching along several blocks, the esplanade along Downing Park has a winding walking trail, a white gazebo, benches and flowering trees. Homesites located along the boulevard are bordered by brick and stone retaining walls. The homesites are raised, with steps leading up the sidewalk, and some of the retaining walls have built-in benches facing the street.
Gould said variety is one reason why Cinco Ranch ranked as the number one community in Houston for new-home sales last year, and also ranked number two in the nation, according to a report from RCLCO, a national real estate advisory firm.
“When J. Kyle completes its model in Park Place in a few weeks, Cinco Ranch will have 42 decorated models, with an overall price range from the $160,000s to over $1 million,” Gould said, adding that Cinco Ranch sales increased over 7 percent for the first nine months of 2009.
Most Cinco Ranch model homes are located in the community’s central Model Home Village, but the model homes for Park Place are located within that neighborhood.
Home buyers can begin their visit to Cinco Ranch at Simply Cinco, the community’s official new-home information center, located in the LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch retail center at Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd. To visit, take I-10 West to Grand Parkway and turn left, then turn right on Cinco Ranch Blvd. Visit online at www.cincoranch.com.
